The AVEC Symposium has a long and successful history as one of the leading international conferences on vehicle dynamics and advanced vehicle control. Since successfully first held in Yokohama in 1992, AVEC has been established internationally and was, outside of Japan, previously held in Aachen, Ann Arbor, Arnhem, Taipei, Loughborough, Seoul and Munich.
The main goal of AVEC is to provide a multidisciplinary forum between the world's leading scientists and experts to exchange their ideas and innovations, and present recent achievements as well as prospects in vehicle dynamics and advanced vehicle control. As the vehicle is evolving rapidly into an increasingly “intelligent” product, mutual promotion between industry and academia led by AVEC is more meaningful than ever and an opportunity not to be missed.
